Business Development Manager
focused on net new business growth.
Iocane works with government, defence and corporate organisations to deliver clever, reliable and value-driven IT solutions. With continued growth across its services portfolio, this newly created opportunity will play a key role in expanding Iocane's client base and market presence.
About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll be responsible for identifying, targeting and securing new clients across industries including health, retail and manufacturing. This is a true new-business role, supported by experienced pre-sales and delivery teams, where you'll own the sales cycle end-to-end.
You'll build strong relationships with decision-makers, develop tailored ICT solutions, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships that deliver real value.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities aligned with Iocane's strategy
* Build and maintain a healthy, disciplined sales pipeline
* Deliver high-quality sales presentations and proposals
* Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders and partners
* Collaborate closely with pre-sales, delivery and internal teams
* Maintain strong knowledge of ICT services, cloud solutions and industry trends
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in new business development
* Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, self-driven approach with excellent organisation and time management
* Ability to translate client needs into practical commercial solutions
* A network within the IT industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
* Someone that is high energy, coachable and willing to learn.
