Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery (desirable)
* Experience in high-volume kitchens (ability to serve up to 400+ customers at peak times)
* Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
* Genuine passion for the food industry
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
Duties & Responsibilities
* Assist with planning and developing menus
* Estimate food and labour costs
* Monitor quality and consistency of all dishes
* Food preparation and portion control
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
* Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards
