Your role

Cummins is offering a unique opportunity to Engineering/Science students to gain skills and knowledge while working full time commencing 27th January 2025. This is a 13-month, full time or part time, paid placement and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will make an impact and gain experience in the following ways:

* Support documentation of the key processes of the business as contained in the business Quality Manual.
* Provide help to review the Root Cause Analysis for assigned Corrective Actions through the internal audit process and train stakeholders if needed.
* Running risk assessment for the findings to prioritise them in designing the action plan.


About you

If you are an undergraduate Engineering/Science student looking to jump start your career, Cummins are offering a 13-month full time internship based at the Perth office.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:

* Are currently studying a Bachelor degree in Engineering, science or similar discipline
* Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025
* Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.

To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:

* Communicate effectively.
* Demonstrate attention to detail.
* Work within a team
* Work autonomously with the support of mentor and remotely as required.
* Build strong relationship with branches and APAC region Quality team members.
