About the Student Association Role
This position plays a key role in supporting student associations at Notre Dame's Fremantle and Sydney campuses. The primary focus is to manage and allocate funds to support student activities, events, and services.
* Collaborate with the University and student association Treasurers to oversee funding, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy and adherence to legislative requirements.
* Assist student associations in developing governance frameworks and policies that ensure proper distribution and tracking of allocated funds to affiliated clubs and societies.
* Oversee the reporting of allocations and expenditures, guaranteeing full compliance with all relevant legislation.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
* Proficient in financial management software and systems, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of governance frameworks and policies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
