Financial Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will possess relevant financial qualifications, such as CPA (or equivalent), and tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or business administration. With extensive experience and knowledge of the for-purpose sector, including ACNC-regulated organisations, they will have a proven track record as the most senior finance professional in a similar organisation.
This role involves working closely with the CEO and the Board to establish and implement a corporate services strategy that ensures contemporary budget management, monitoring, and reporting of the organisation's financial performance and resources. The Chief Financial Officer will also be responsible for implementing a long-term property management strategy that achieves sustainable financial outcomes and meets the needs of members.
To excel in this role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate success in governance and change management, backed by strong strategic and operational leadership. They will have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and provide collaborative executive advice across a wide range of stakeholders.
