This pioneering initiative enhances South Australia's capability to monitor, predict, and respond to harmful algal bloom events by leveraging advanced technology and collaborative partnerships.

* Rapid detection, taxonomic classification, and quantification of phytoplankton and harmful algal bloom species through automated image classification models.
* Development and maintenance of automated image processing and data analysis pipelines.
* Collaboration with government, industry, and research partners to provide near real-time data and inform responses.
