Summary:This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of pipelines, equipment, and performance of work associated with the daily operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station or pump station equipment, plant facilities, and pipeline facilities including prime movers, compressors, valves, filters, separators, dehydrators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment to meet production and throughput requirements reliably and efficiently while complying with procedures and regulations.Plan, organize, prioritize, communicate, and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure work is completed safely, timely, and effectively.Provide budgetary information, schedule work and outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate resources.Interpret and utilize drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and other technical resources for assigned work.Use hand tools, power tools, and portable equipment safely in various environments.Utilize precision measurement equipment to determine dimensions and set equipment tolerances.Maintain equipment records, logs, inventory, and documentation as per procedures and regulations.Provide training and leadership to develop effective work crews, depending on level hired.Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete related documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).Maintain facilities, grounds, and work areas in a safe and orderly manner.Participate in safety programs and initiatives, following policies and procedures.Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.Comply with safety policies and perform lockout/tagout procedures.Required Education:High school diploma or GED.Required Experience:Depends on job level:Level C: 0-2 years relevant experience.Level B: 2-4 years relevant experience.Level A: 4+ years relevant experience.Required Qualifications:Valid driver's license and safe driving record; certification as USDOT driver may be required.Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.Self-starter with good judgment.Preferred Qualifications:Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operations and maintenance tasks.Proficiency with MS Office and other computer applications.Working Conditions and Requirements:Work environment includes exposure to weather, confined spaces, heavy lifting, industrial hazards, and potential emergencies.
