Smart Healthcare Solutions is a Western Australian owned company, delivering staffing solutions, in-home care services, department of Veteran (DVA) services, Community Nursing and innovative solutions to the healthcare industry. With new contracts signed recently, we are expanding our workforce and seeking passionate and reliable staff to support residents in aged care and disability facilities for our clients - North and South of the River.
Successful candidates will possess a positive "can do" attitude, excellent communication skills, and commitment to providing the best possible care to aged clients and their families.
Available Roles
* Carers / Support Workers : Assist residents with personal care, support with meals, mobility, and daily living activities, provide companionship and emotional support, and monitor and report changes in resident health and wellbeing.
* Therapy Assistants (TA)/ Physiotherapy Assistants (PTA) : Support therapists in delivering rehabilitation and therapy programs, assist residents with exercise routines and mobility support, set up and maintain therapy equipment safely, and record and report progress to the supervising therapist.
* Kitchen Hands : Assist in preparing and serving meals for residents, maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards, and support meal distribution to residents.
* Laundry Assistants : Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' laundry, operate and maintain laundry equipment safely, ensure infection control standards are followed, and keep laundry areas clean and organized.
* Cleaners : Clean resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, safely dispose of waste and maintain hygiene standards, replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies, and follow infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements (all roles) : Previous experience in aged care, disability, or healthcare settings (preferred), Current Police Clearance and/or WWCC (as required), Flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination evidence (mandatory), First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and NDIS Clearance.
