The role of Medical Receptionist involves acting as the central point of communication for clients and staff, providing superior secretarial and reception services. Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, performing general office duties, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and staff
* Provide exceptional administrative support
* Schedule appointments and manage client records
* Perform various office tasks including mail distribution, typing, scanning, and filing
* Assist with closing and securing the building at the end of the day
Requirements:
* Excellent administration, time management, and organizational skills
* Well-developed customer service skills
* Knowledge of the mental health sector
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
* Previous experience in a medical reception role would be advantageous
* Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM applications
* Current Working With Children Clearance (WWCC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) worker screening clearance required
