Cold Storage Operations Manager
As a seasoned Cold Storage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of cold storage facilities. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that refrigeration and cooling systems are functioning optimally, directing the handling and arrangement of chilled and frozen goods, and enforcing strict standards for workplace health and safety as well as good manufacturing practices.
You will also play a key role in managing subordinate staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance. Additionally, you will be accountable for maintaining accurate documentation of cold store inventory, coordinating stock organisation, and ensuring readiness for timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain refrigeration and cooling systems to guarantee product quality.
* Coordinate the arrangement, packing, and handling of chilled and frozen goods.
* Implement and enforce robust WHS & GMP protocols to prevent accidents and non-compliance.
* Lead, mentor, and train team members to achieve exceptional performance.
* Verify and document cold store inventory to prevent discrepancies.
* Organise stock efficiently to enable seamless dispatch operations.
