The Central Procurement unit sits within the Finance and Assurance team and is responsible for ensuring Comcare complies with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, _Modern Slavery Act 2018 _reporting and has effective contract management arrangements.
The Assistant Director, Procurement is responsible for leading the Central Procurement unit. The Assistant Director provides strategic advice and support to Comcare's Executive and internal stakeholder's regarding procurement and contract management. Leading a small team, the Assistant Director will manage Comcare's procurements to ensure compliance with the _Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013_, (PGPA Act), Commonwealth Procurement Rules, _Modern Slavery Act 2018_ and support Comcare in achieving its outcomes.
