**Job Description** About the opportunity**
Join our newly created** Global Operations** function as a **Learning & Development Lead **in **Melbourne** to make a real impact every day. Reporting to the** Senior Operational Learning Manager,** you will be working across multiple verticals and regions to deliver learning and training solutions to build and enhance our Xplorer capabilities. Some of the other responsibilities include:
- Play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs that align with organisational goals.
- Support the Senior Organisational Learning Manager in the day to day running of the team, mentoring and coaching the Operational Trainers.
- Utilise industry best practices to create engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and multimedia resources.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to employees at all levels, fostering a positive and participative learning environment.
- Implement assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning program make data-driven improvements.
- Explore and leverage innovative technologies to enhance the delivery of learning solutions, such as learning management systems and virtual training platforms.
- Provide assistance, support and coaching to Team Leaders
For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you will spend 3 days per week in the office and 2 working from home.

Required qualifications for this role:
- Familiarity with traditional, virtual, and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, blended learning, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain successful and collaborative relationships in a matrix organisation.
- Credibility to influence fellow Xplorers, including people leaders and Executives
- Strategic thinking ability to create informed learning solutions that advance both the colleague and the customer experience
- Experience in working within a global organisation, adapting to different time zones
- Significant experience of working in a progressive L&D capacity, preferably in a call centre environment
- Able to work within a global organisation and accommodate working hours to support this
