Key Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an outstanding learning environment, supporting children's growth and development, and contributing to a collaborative team of Early Childhood professionals.
Our centre caters for up to 100 children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm. The Educator will work closely with colleagues to ensure the provision of high-quality care and education, developing and implementing engaging programs that meet the needs of all children.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs that foster children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and participate in regular assessment and evaluation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator who is passionate, dedicated, and strives to build and maintain an exceptional learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm and nurturing approach to childcare, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
• Relevant qualification (Certificate III or Diploma) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contribute to collaborative planning and decision-making, and support colleagues as needed.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in educational software.
