Zian Automotive Pty Ltd T/As About Ozzy Tyres Welshpool is a premier automotive service centre specializing in tyres, wheels, suspension products and comprehensive mechanical services. Located in Welshpool, Western Australia, we offer quality products and services such as tyre fitting, wheel packages, suspension upgrades and full car care to enhance vehicle safety and performance. The role is full‐time with annual salary between $75,000 and $85,000.
Responsibilities
* Perform inspection, diagnosis and fault finding of engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking and related systems.
* Carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs and component replacements in line with manufacturer specifications.
* Dismantle and reassemble engines and assemblies for inspection and rebuild where required.
* Conduct road tests, adjustments and calibrations to ensure repaired vehicles are safe and performing optimally.
* Use diagnostic scanners, technical manuals and workshop tools safely and accurately.
* Maintain accurate job cards, service logs and safety checklists.
* Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a workshop environment, including mechanical servicing and diagnostics.
* Sound understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic results.
* Clean Australian driver's licence.
* Excellent communication skills and strong customer service focus.
