The CNS Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) uses their expertise tomanage new PD catheters prior to commencement of dialysis togetherwith education and support for both staff and patients admitted toFSH. The CNS works collaboratively with the surgical team for thescheduling and work up of patients. The CNS supports problemsolving and clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient setting,as a nursing expert in the assessment and management of patients onperitoneal dialysis therapy.
