We have been asked to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a company in Northampton. 
Day-to-day working in a small team of 3, reporting into the Accounts Manager you'll support the business's accounts department. 
There are a few perks with this role including a bonus which is paid out twice throughout the year. 
Responsibilities 
Manage payroll process, including deductions, payments, and HMRC submissions ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company policies – Sage software 
Provide administrative support to the Accounts Manager and assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports 
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts 
Process receipts and payments accurately and timely using Xero software 
Prepare invoices 
Maintain and update financial records and databases 
Support month-end and year-end close processes
