About Our Disability Support Program
Our community engagement activities are designed to promote socialization, skills development, and overall well-being among our clients. These activities include swimming, outdoor adventures, and Social Saturdays, as well as center-based programs such as science, music, technology, and photography classes within a purpose-built learning hub.
* We provide personalized support to ensure each client's unique needs are met.
* Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals is at the heart of what we do.
* We maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.
* We empower clients by promoting individual choice and control.
* Transportation services are provided to clients as required.
* We offer personal care assistance, including dressing and toileting support when needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and Quality and Safeguarding Framework. A person-centered approach and genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities are essential. You will also require:
* A minimum Cert III in Disability (or equivalent)
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate client notes
* A focus on empowering clients through positive support
