Core Banking System Job Description
The Core Banking System is responsible for providing innovative technology products with seamless, flexible, and dynamic features that enhance user convenience.
As a Core Banking System professional, you will work alongside other engineers and developers to implement the system's infrastructure. Your primary goal is to serve microfinance operations by implementing core banking systems, data center implementation, and customer needs.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
1. Preparing reports on requested changes
2. Maintaining new branches in the system
3. Maintaining security user and role access systems
4. Implementing new products with specific requirements
5. Finding issues, testing, and resolving them in the system
6. Daily support for branch users
7. Reviewing and maintaining system parameters/functions
8. Analyzing data entry processes using the system
9. Providing technical support and administration for database systems
10. Designing, developing, and implementing database standards and recommendations
11. Managing data warehouses for business operations
12. Supporting report development teams
13. Monitoring SQL Server performance and evaluating/recommending server/database platforms
14. Creating databases and environments related to database management
15. Controlling and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly data backups
16. Collecting and managing monthly database collections for user checking and consolidation
17. Preparing project plans and technical management reports
18. Managing project activities from initiation to successful commissioning within set timelines
19. Providing leadership in planning and IT development project implementation/training sessions
20. Managing contracts with relevant vendors for service applications
21. Providing consulting, training, and education services on document management and staff training/orientation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
* Minimum 3 years' experience in related fields
* Experience working with relational database systems (Oracle, Oracle RMAN, PL/SQL)
* Knowledge of report builder tools
* Hands-on experience with end-user applications (banking)
* Good IT and organizational skills
* Self-management skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Good English language skills
