About the role
Asayish Comfort Care is seeking a NDIS Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. In this essential role, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals living with disabilities in the Wagga Wagga area.

What you'll be doing
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community-based activities to promote independence and inclusion
* Monitor client wellbeing and report any changes or concerns to the care team
* Advocate for client needs and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support
* Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with organisational policies and procedures
* Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualification in disability support, community services, or a related field
* Previous experience working with individuals living with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively
* Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting the independence and wellbeing of clients
* A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of clients
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable
