Job Description
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Strategy, People & Communication, this pivotal role will lead a multi-disciplinary team across HR, WHS, payroll, and organisational development. You'll drive strategic workforce transformation, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with the Mission, Vision, and strategic priorities of DLCS.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and inspire a high-performing People & Culture team.
● Drive strategic HR initiatives including performance, learning, and talent development.
● Oversee WHS systems and foster a proactive safety culture.
● Provide expert advice to the Board, Director of Catholic Schools, and Executive Leadership.
● Champion organisational change and workforce capability development.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will be a seasoned executive with:
● 10+ years in senior People & Culture leadership roles.
● Proven success in leading change within complex organisations.
● Expertise in HR strategy, WHS, industrial relations, and payroll.
● Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
● A commitment to the values and Mission of Catholic education.
Qualifications & requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in HR, IR, Business or related field (postgraduate preferred).
● Valid Working with Children Check and a cleared National Police Check.
● Current Australian Driver's Licence.
