The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales, and managing staff. This role helps maintain store standards, motivates the team, and ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling expenses
* Supervise, train, coach, and motivate store associates
* Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer concerns or escalations
* Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation
* Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, receiving, and stock control
* Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention practices
* Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations
* Step in as acting Store Manager when the Store Manager is absent
