About the Role
This hands-on role is critical to ensuring accurate stock levels, smooth warehouse operations, and minimal stock loss. You'll work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to maintain best-practice inventory control processes. You will report to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurate receipting of inbound stock, including verification of quantities, batch codes, expiry dates, and product condition.
* Investigating and resolving receiving discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
* Conducting rolling stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain real-time stock accuracy.
* Maintaining and improving stock integrity processes across dry, chilled, and frozen goods.
* Identifying, investigating, and reporting stock variances.
* Managing stock adjustments in the inventory system in line with company procedures.
* Managing the entire process rolling stocktakes across the business.
* Supporting full stocktakes and audit requirements.
* Monitoring stock rotation, expiry control, and damage reporting.
* Working collaboratively with warehouse staff to uphold inventory best practices.
About You
* Proven experience in inventory control, stock administration, or warehouse operations (foodservice or FMCG highly regarded).
* Strong understanding of stock receipting, cycle counting, and variance control.
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
* Confident using inventory management systems and spreadsheets.
* Ability to work independently while supporting a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Good communication skills and a proactive mindset.
