The Role
We’re looking for a Cook or Chef to join our team on weekends, supporting our existing kitchen staff to deliver fresh, delicious café-style meals in a high-volume environment. This is a weekend role (1-2 days per week), perfect for someone looking for consistent weekend work with no nights or split shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch items to a high standard
- Support the team in delivering consistent food quality and presentation
- Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with kitchen prep and clean-up as required
- Communicate clearly with FOH and kitchen team members
About You
- Relevant cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience
- Available Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30am–4:30pm
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining quality and cleanliness
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
