Key Responsibilities
* Effective communication with clients, staff and key stakeholders to undertake the role's requirements.
* Assist with engineering design using first principles and computer-aided design and modelling tools.
* Site management and construction activities.
* Meet key performance indicators.
* Maintain adherence to company quality, environmental, health and safety processes.
* Analyse survey reports, architectural drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other data for project planning.
* Prioritise tasks to ensure project deadlines are met.
* Report changes affecting delivery time.
* Perform civil design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards.
* Ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 requirements are achieved.
* Quality assure engineers' and drafters' work prior to delivery.
Role Requirements
* A Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Master of Engineering degree with relevant Australian experience.
* Knowledge of Austroads Guidelines and Australian Standards.
* Demonstrated understanding of computer packages related to civil engineering.
* Excellent skills in IT, mathematics and science.
* Able to explain design plans clearly, analyse large datasets and assess solutions.
* Proactive task management to meet planned budgets and timeframes.
* Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate job schedules.
* Sound knowledge of legal requirements.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
