Details: Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for public service, governance, and supporting data-driven decision-making? The Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join the Data Analytics Branch as the Director, Government Briefing and Business Co-ordination.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for coordinating government business functions for the branch, including ministerial briefings, jurisdictional reporting, and executive correspondence. You will drive the development of branch-wide systems and processes that support business planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
This position offers the opportunity to:
* Lead strategic co-ordination of the core business functions of the Data Analytics Branch.
* Shape and implement operating models that enhance branch productivity and internal governance.
* Foster collaboration across DAB and the directorate.
* Support data governance, compliance, and internal communication.
We are looking for someone with:
* Proven experience in governance, business co-ordination, planning, and management in a government setting.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent communication and strategic planning capabilities.
* A sound understanding of public sector business processes and accountability.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Previous experience in, or exposure to, data-related government business would be an advantage but is not essential.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
