Gameloft Brisbane, part of the global Gameloft family, opened its doors in 2014 and has since delivered hits such as Zombie Anarchy, Ballistic Baseball, My Little Pony Mane Merge, The Oregon Trail™ and Carmen Sandiego. In 2022 our studio was recognised as Studio of the Year at the Australian Game Developer Awards (AGDAs).
We play a pivotal role in Queensland’s economic landscape, currently employing over 100 full‑time staff in diverse roles including programmers, artists, designers, producers, QA, audio specialists, management, administration and marketing professionals.

As a Build and Release Engineer at Gameloft, you will streamline build pipelines and DevOps practices for game development. This includes standardising pipelines, optimising tools for performance and cost efficiency, and integrating technologies such as Horde, Kubernetes and Unreal Engine builds.
Qualifications
- Leading build pipelines and DevOps for games, enforcing standards and best practices
- Managing game‑related packages and artefacts centrally for efficient distribution
- Enhancing game development tools and pipelines for better performance and cost‑effectiveness
- Maintaining accurate and accessible documentation for version control systems such as Git and Perforce
- Proficiency in C# and Python, with experience in scripting for build pipelines
- Understanding of PowerShell & Batch and their usage in Windows‑based systems
- Hands‑on experience building and designing CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Unreal Engine Horde
- Experience configuring Unix and Windows‑based servers
Nice to have
- Experience using the Unreal Engine build process
- Experience with cloud‑based distributed systems
- Experience with containerisation systems such as Kubernetes or Docker
- Experience in cross‑platform game development
