About the Role
JBS Townsville is currently recruiting an experienced Production Storeperson to join the team in a full‑time capacity. Reporting to the Purchasing Officer and Plant Accountant, the Production Storeperson will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge and skillset within stores and warehousing operations and procurement.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Stock management including receiving, inventory control and replenishment duties
* Developing effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
* Ad hoc stores related duties as required
About You
* Previous experience in a similar stores or warehousing role
* Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment as well as the ability to work unsupervised
* Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
* Sound computer literacy skills including MS Office
* Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills
* Previous experience in a factory or process setting advantageous
* Must be physically fit and have a reliable work history
* Available to work over a 5‑day roster
