Overview
For ICT Project Managers and IT Program Managers to deliver ICT strategy and seamless service transition for a governmental agency. A full-time contract role working 7.5 hours per day within a prestigious public service environment.
Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals.
* Managing the transition of ICT services to the Department of Parliamentary Services ensuring value for money and service continuity.
* Providing expert advice to stakeholders and collaborating with business leaders to understand technology needs.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships between agencies while negotiating and managing contracts.
* Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ensuring security and reliability of IT systems, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
* Overseeing daily management of the ICT Operations team including staff, budgets, and resources.
What you will need
* Strong ICT project management experience, particularly in government or similar environments.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and contract negotiation abilities.
* Excellent communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
* Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this role due to security requirements.

* Salary guide: $120 - $130 per hour.
* Location: Australian Capital Territory.
* Onsite work arrangements with consistent daytime hours.
* Contract role with potential for extension based on performance and agreement.
* Competitive pay up to $130 per hour including leave loading.
* Hours: 7.5 hours per day, full-time contract.
