The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented
Stock Controller
to manage and oversee our inventory operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our equipment and event hire stock is accurately tracked, maintained, and available to meet client needs during this period of unprecedented demand.
Key Responsibilities
* Inventory management
: Monitor, record, and reconcile stock levels across multiple warehouses and event sites.
* Quality control
: Ensure all hire equipment is maintained to the highest standards and ready for deployment.
* Logistics coordination
: Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to plan stock movements efficiently.
* Process improvement
: Identify opportunities to streamline stock control systems and enhance accuracy.
* Reporting
: Provide regular updates on stock levels, shortages, and usage trends to management.
About You
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Experience in inventory or stock control (hire industry experience highly regarded).
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
