Job Description
* Develop and implement reliability strategies to optimise equipment performance.
* Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve asset reliability and minimise downtime.
* Monitor and evaluate equipment performance metrics to recommend improvements.
* Prepare detailed reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
* Support the Capital Projects teams in project definition and delivery, this includes providing guidance on the maintenance strategy to the Operational Readiness teams
* Support maintenance teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all operations.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of reliability processes and practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Specialist Reliability Engineer should have:
* Qualifications in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Mechatronics) or a related field.
* Experience/knowledge of track maintenance activities
* Proven expertise in reliability engineering within the rail and natural resources industry.
* Skills and Knowledge of track design and foundations and engineering is highly advantageous
* Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
* Familiarity with reliability tools and software.
* Commitment to safety and compliance in engineering practices.
