Warramunda is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to provide high-quality, person-centred Dietetic services that support optimal clinical outcomes and long-term wellbeing for our residents. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the holistic care of each individual, ensuring their nutritional needs are met in alignment with Warramunda's Vision and Values.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver thorough assessments and evidence-based nutritional treatments to promote optimal function and independence.
* Evaluate residents' physical, psychological, functional, behavioral and environmental needs to inform tailored dietary interventions.
* Maintain high standards of dietetic practice throughout resident admission, assessment, care planning, and ongoing treatment.
* Provide education, counselling and support to residents and their families/carers to promote nutritional wellbeing.
* Lead clinical practice in a specialised area, contributing your expertise and knowledge to promote excellence among peers.
* Apply reflective, evidence-based, and person-centred approaches in the delivery of care.
* Ensure adherence to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) Standards, along with all relevant Warramunda policies and procedures.
* Maintain resident confidentiality in accordance with legislation and organisational guidelines.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent tertiary qualification.
* Eligible for full membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
* Eligible for participation in the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) Program.
