EMPLOYMENT TYPES & ROSTERS
Full-Time Permanent:Monday to Friday rotating roster (morning, afternoon, and night shifts).
Full-Time Seasonal/Casual:Availability for weekday shifts, Monday to Friday is required.
Competitive rates + Shift loadings
Opportunity to progress to 7 on 7 off rosterin 3-6 months for interested, strong performers.
Fully funded laboratory traineeships available for eligible applicants
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sample Preparers play a crucial role in preparing mineral samples for laboratory analysis by operating machinery that crushes, splits, and pulverises raw samples.
We are especially looking for experienced Sample Preparers who can hit the ground running, but we also welcome candidates with a labouring, production, or FIFO utilities background who are eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
? Sorting, weighing, and drying samples
? Operating mills, splitters, and crushers
? Bagging samples for analysis
? Adhering to strict safety, production, and quality standards
This role requires working in a dusty environment and adapting to varying environmental temperatures.
Employees must wear PPE andhealth monitoring assessments are mandatory for all employees.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in Sample Preparationis highly desirable.
Candidates with labouring, production, processing, or utilities experience are also encouraged to apply.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting*****kgregularly.
Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable transportation to and from Maddington.
Able to work shift work (6am–2pm, 10pm–6am, 2pm–10pm).
