Community Nursing Career
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Community Nursing team in the Taree/Forster region. As a community-based nurse, you will have the opportunity to take your clinical skills into the homes of older Australians, providing hands-on care, education, and support that empowers clients to stay safe, well, and independent in their own environment.
The role involves:
* Providing clinical nursing care in the home, including wound care, catheter and stoma management, diabetes support, and chronic disease management.
* Completing health assessments and developing personalised care plans.
* Collaborating with GPs, carers, and allied health professionals for truly holistic support.
* Educating clients and families, giving them confidence to manage their health.
About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position (4 days per week, Tuesday–Friday) with daytime-only shifts. You will work in a community-based setting with flexibility to work from home when needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current AHPRA registration (Division 1 RN).
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in community, aged care, or acute settings.
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* A passion for person-centred, community-based care.
* A valid driver's licence, Police Check, WWCC, CPR.
