About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child & Family Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at In Sync Kids OT. You will work alongside occupational therapists in a collaborative, family-centred environment that embraces neurodiversity, celebrates individuality, and fosters meaningful outcomes for children and their families.The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children and adolescents, a strong understanding of neurodivergent (ND) presentations, and confidence in working closely with parents. A background in attachment-based approaches is highly valued.Key Responsibilities:Provide psychological support to children, adolescents, and families in a neuroaffirming and strengths-based mannerWork within a family lens, incorporating parents into therapy and offering guidance on emotional regulation, connection, and relationship strengtheningSupport children with neurodivergent presentations (e.g., ADHD, autism) and guide families in understanding and responding to their child’s unique needsConduct assessments, develop collaborative treatment plans, and implement evidence-informed therapeutic approachesCollaborate closely with our team of occupational therapists as well as external professionals such as educators, paediatricians, and other allied health providersMaintain clear and professional documentation in line with ethical and legal standardsAbout You:Registered Psychologist with AHPRAExperience or strong interest in working with children, young people, and their familiesUnderstanding of neurodivergent presentations and a commitment to working within a neuroaffirming frameworkSound knowledge of attachment-based approaches and the influence of early relationships on developmentTraining in Circle of Security (COS) or a willingness to undertake COS training is highly desirableAbility to work autonomously while contributing meaningfully to a supportive, reflective, and collaborative teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWhy Join In Sync Kids OT?At In Sync Kids OT, we are passionate about Sensory Integration and child development.
