The Role
As a Maintenance Wet Fire System Technician, your role is to uphold our wet fire systems and equipment in good working order, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards. This is working on a Government Contract.
This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
1. Maintain and service all Wet Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to Australian Standards
2. Conduct routine inspection, testing and servicing of Wet Fire Systems - Sprinklers, hydrants, hoses and pumps
3. Installation of Wet Fire Systems
4. Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work
5. Liaise directly with the client regarding service work
6. Isolate Panels to conduct testing of the Wet Fire Systems
Skills & Experience
7. Cert III in Fire Protection (desired)
8. Demonstrated experience working with Wet Fire Systems
9. Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118
10. Ability to Test, Repair and Install
11. Drivers Licence
Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
