Ecological Consultant
In this role, you will work on various projects to assess and manage environmental impacts. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality ecological assessments and surveys.
* Develop and implement strategies for mitigating environmental risks associated with infrastructure projects.
* Conduct field-based surveys to identify and monitor threatened species, vegetation, and habitats.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and regulations.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* A degree in environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of GIS software, data collection tools, and environmental assessment methods.

Key Responsibilities:
* Desktop ecological assessments using Commonwealth and State databases and mapping.
* Plan and deliver field-based ecological surveys.
* Ecological impact assessment and management planning for infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
* Degree in environmental science or natural resource management.
* Working knowledge of GIS desktop and data collection packages such as ESRI and ArcGIS.
* Knowledge of desktop and field-based ecological assessment methods.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
