About The RoleIn this position, the Workshop Manager is responsible for managing workflow, resourcing, overhead, cost control, and business unit profitability, as well as championing safe work practices and continuous improvement.RequirementsResponsibilities & DutiesManage recoverable hours vs budgeted hours & manage workshop resources accordingly.Prioritise work in order to meet and balance deadlines or critical internal and external customer satisfaction.Report and oversee the management of work health and safety incidents and workplace safety accidents.Provide coaching, development and direction of workshop technicians.Manage the overall performance of technicians and help develop the skills needed for each role.Liaise with Engineering to solve technical issues and document solutions.Allocate work via CMSP to workshop employees assigned to you.Skills & ExperiencePrior management experience in a service environment.Proven track record of meeting/exceeding set targets.Experience in driving and implementing change.Highly organised.Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.BenefitsWhat sets us apart?Crown's history began when two brothers founded the Company in New Bremen, Ohio (USA) in 1945.
