This is a hands-on senior leadership role where you will ensure operations are safe, efficient, and profitable, while delivering exceptional service and driving growth in line with company goals.
What you'll do:
* Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and collaboration .
* Develop and implement operational strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and market share .
* Manage people, processes, and resources, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards .
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and industry stakeholders.
* Oversee budgets, KPIs, and service delivery standards to ensure operational profitability.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across operations.
What we're looking for:
* 5+ years of senior management experience, preferably in transport or logistics.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage and inspire teams .
* Strong understanding of safety, Chain of Responsibility compliance, and operational regulations .
* Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and process improvement .
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or similar (desirable).
