Key Roles and Responsibilities
This role supports the Departmental Liaison Officer in fostering collaborative relationships between government agencies.
* Document Management: Utilize expertise in record management systems to research, retrieve, track and analyze electronic documents.
* Assist in resolving complex enquiries and confidential matters by redirecting them to appropriate officers.
* Identify emerging issues based on incoming correspondence and refer them to the Departmental Liaison Officer for further action.
* Support coordination of written and verbal advice on portfolio matters.
* Provide logistical support including arranging meetings between ministerial staff and departmental executives or external stakeholders.
* Offer timely and professional advice on work systems, procedures and guidelines to optimize workflows.
This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to the Departmental Liaison Officer.
