An exciting opportunity exists to join Corrs in the role of Environmental Sustainability Manager.

This newly created role provides both strategic and hands-on operational planning, solutions and reporting to progress the firm's environmental sustainability and responsible supply chain agenda.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, including the firm's senior leaders, sustainability committees and working groups, employee networks, facilities management partners and key suppliers, as well as the broader Business Services team.

Key responsibilities

* Develop and deliver on Corrs' environmental sustainability priorities, including developing our next zero commitments and transition pathway.
* Ensure compliance with changing environmental regulations and frameworks.
* Monitor and report on environmental performance, overseeing annual data collection and ESG reporting, ensuring accurate data sets, coordinating non-financial assurance and submissions and adhering to voluntary reporting frameworks and/or regulators.
* Prepare ESG-related responses for tenders, panel submissions, and due diligence questionnaires in collaboration with Business Development teams.
* Enhance Corrs' approach to supply chain sustainability and sustainable procurement, liaising with stakeholders across the business.
* Source, manage and build relationships with suppliers and appropriate external providers, including our facilities management partner, to reduce any adverse impacts and create new forms of value.
* Be an active participant in both internal and external committee meetings and programs supporting employee, supplier and client-facing environmental strategies.
* Assist in driving culture change programs and solutions to embed environmental sustainability practices and understanding throughout the firm.

About you

* Strong interest in environmental and sustainability frameworks and compliance.
* Experience working with environmental data and coordinating submission processes.
* Ability to strike the balance between strategic thinking and operational execution.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to bring thought leadership on environmental sustainability.
* Excellent communication skills - able to engage stakeholders through effective verbal and written communication.
* Ability to work effectively across multiple projects/issues, including managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations in an organised and responsive manner.
