Community Engagement Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Engagement Manager to join our dynamic Government Relations team. In this role, you will report into the Senior Manager of Government Relations, ANZ and take the lead in fostering meaningful connections with the communities we serve across Australia and New Zealand.


Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Community Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies to foster dialogue and educate riders.
* Stakeholder Meetings and Events: Organise and facilitate stakeholder meetings, roundtables, and community events to gather feedback and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organisations, and stakeholders.
* Relationship Building: Identify, build, and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organisations, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for public and community inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders regarding project developments and impacts.
* Project Integration: Work closely with Lime's operations team to integrate community feedback, develop and manage community participation programs, monitor engagement effectiveness, and prepare reports for management teams and city councils.


Requirements:

* A minimum of three (3) years related experience leading or working in community engagement, government affairs, public policy, campaigns, and/or communications.
* At least one (1) year working directly with any level of government.
* Multitasking skills, comfortable working on multiple priorities at once while executing projects in a demanding environment.
* Ability to travel frequently around Melbourne and other ANZ markets on occasion, as well as regular events on evenings and weekends.
