About the position
St Peter's College is currently seeking applications for a permanent, full-time Senior Tradesperson position. The Senior Tradesperson is responsible for applying advanced trade expertise including carpentry skills and experience, to repair, restore, and replace components of the College's buildings and grounds. This role ensures that facilities remain safe, sustainable, and fit for purpose, while preserving the heritage, integrity, and functionality of the College's built environment. Working closely with the Maintenance Team, the Senior Tradesperson contributes to delivering well-maintained, safe, and functional buildings and outdoor spaces that support the needs of the entire St Peter's College community.
Desired Skills And Experience
* Have a willingness to support the School's values and Anglican ethos.
* Trade qualifications with demonstrated minimum 5 years' (beyond apprenticeship) experience on site or in a workshop.
* South Australian Working with Children Check.
* Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) Certificate.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
The successful applicant will be expected to satisfy child protection screening and adhere to the School's Child Protection Policy.
