Stockhead is recruiting a full-time, experienced, resources and mining journalist who would like to break out of the typical run-of-the-mill business reporting environment.

Our website operates a team of full-time reporters covering small-cap ASX companies – preparing savvy investors with market leading commentary, insights and opinion from Australia's premier finance journalists, contributors and industry experts.
Unlike other investment news sites, our focus is not on the ASX200 companies that get all the press.
We think Australia's best, untold stories lie with the other 2000 listed companies that barely rate a mention in the mainstream media.

About the role
Working as part of Stockhead's editorial team, you'll write company profiles, thematic features, sponsored content and ASX-news articles highlighting emerging stories focused on our clients and their industry peers in the mining and resources space.
Your stories will be published on the Stockhead website and syndicated across leading News Corp Australia mastheads, including The Australian.
About you
* Strong interview skills and news sense
* Minimum 3 years' writing experience in mining or business journalism, writing for print or online publications (or demonstrable comparable experience)
* Experience writing quality content to tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* An ability to bring your own sense of flair and personality to your writing, which fits within Stockhead's quirky, yet fun and informative style
* Experience with video scriptwriting a bonus, but not required
