We are seeking a qualified
Pipeline Pneumatic and Hydrotesting Test Lead
to join our team.
As the Test Lead, you will provide hands-on leadership and technical expertise to the testing team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervision & Execution:
Provide hands-on supervision and possess sufficient technical knowledge to execute field Pressure Testing.
Compliance:
Ensure all testing activities (LP/HP, HDPE/CS + SS) are conducted strictly in accordance with AGPA Code of Practice – Upstream Polyethylene Gathering Networks (CSG Industry), AS****, and ASMEB31.3.
Testing Procedures:
Lead and execute both Pneumatic and Hydro-testing processes.
HSEQ & Handover:
Ensure safety and quality standards are strictly adhered to pertaining to test preparation, execution, and successful handover with QC sign-off.
Resource Management:
Manage test resources, including personnel, and associated test equipment efficiently.
Documentation:
Review and endorse the complete test pack documentation.
Technical Literacy:
Be proficient in and fully understand PI&D (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), procedures, and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements).
Experience Required
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in the following areas:
Isolations (Lock Out/Tag Out – LOTO).
HDPE Gathering and Pipelines.
HDPE Hot tapping (LP Mirage or similar).
HDPE squeeze off.
Pigging/dewatering operations.
Operation of Diesel compressors / Maximators / Pumps (including bucket pumps).
Use and calibration of Pressure gauges (digital, analogue, and chart recorders).
Requirements
White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Current Driving Licence.
Minimum 5 Years Experience in a similar Test Lead or supervisory role.
QLD based residency.
Additional Requirements
Availability to start work in mid/late Jan **** and pass a pre-employment medical.
Roster: 19 days on, 9 days off.
QLD based preferred.
