Position Overview
As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects in the industrial sector. You will work closely with project managers, and clients to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed first‑principles estimates using Expert Estimation (experience in similar software will be considered).
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope and pricing.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Collaborate with project managers and electrical supervisors to understand project scope and timelines.
* Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing, while developing and maintaining strong relationships.
* Prepare and present estimates to clients and management.
* Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations.
* Assist in building and maintaining estimating systems, databases, and processes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator.
* Ability to interpret drawings, technical specs, and contract conditions.
* Strong knowledge of Expert Estimation (or equivalent).
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

GCo Australia is a Geraldton based company and would accept candidates who reside in Perth to work remotely (work from home). However a relocation assistance package will be offered to candidates willing to relocate to Geraldton WA.
