Job Location:
Lead and optimise process engineering projects, develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations, and plant design.
2. Provide project review of mechanical deliverables.
3. Coordinate designs and drafts people.
4. Review progress and schedule.
5. Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures, and quality management requirements.
Education and Experience:
Industry related higher education degree
Significant (>15 years) minerals process plant design experience
Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
Engineering delivery experience
Work in team environment. Allocate work to others and monitor progress thereof
Skills and Abilities:
High level communication skills – written and verbal
Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment
Ability to produce study estimates
Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
Knowledge of databases and version control
Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Extensive industry contacts and ability to win confidence of Clients through business development
Willingness to travel if required
