We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity.

* Represent the company while engaged by customers on their sites for site engineering activities.
* Preliminary engineering design and layout works for conveyor systems.
* Deliver audit reports and complete calculations for conveyor systems and related structures against Australian or ISO standards.
* Undertake audits of customers' fixed and mobile plant as directed.
* Innovate, scrutinise and economically optimise designs to achieve best value solution.
* Execute and manage document administration tasks including issue of documents, drawings, reports and revision control when required.
* Monitor and control the schedule, budget, and quality of work that is assigned to you and/or your team.
* Investigate field-related issues or improvement opportunities.
* Work with and support engaged third-party contractors.
* Commissioning activities when required.

Key Responsibilities
">
* Minimum 5 years' experience within a similar role, ideally in bulk material handling or heavy industrial/mining industry.
* Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering and Drafting.
* Full Driver License (Class C).
* Conveyor experience.
* Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor and Vault.
