We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Research Services team. The successful candidate will contribute to the acquisition and management of electronic resources and the institutional repository, ensuring seamless access to scholarly content for students and academics.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the acquisition and renewal of information resources by analysing usage statistics, negotiating pricing, evaluating licences, conducting trials, and ensuring compliance with critical timeframes.
* Establish and maintain access to electronic resources, including troubleshooting access issues and liaising effectively with vendors and IT staff.
* Process repository records to ensure they are accurate, complete, and follow relevant metadata standards and comply with copyright, embargoes, and Open Access policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in librarianship or related field supported by relevant work experience.
* Strong attention to detail, with well-developed analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to interpret, assess, and apply technical and procedural documentation, with experience contributing to the development and improvement of process and support materials.
