For Compliance
Overview
Responsible for ensuring the brokerage meets all regulatory, licensing, and internal compliance requirements.
Manages compliance policies, audits, reporting, and supports a strong compliance culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor insurance regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
Oversee broker and agency licensing and renewal requirements.
Prepare required regulatory reports, filings, and compliance documentation.
Conduct internal audits, investigate potential violations, and report findings to leadership.
Respond to regulatory inquiries, exams, and audits.
Provide compliance training and guidance to staff.
Review marketing, sales, and client materials for compliance accuracy.
Qualifications
2+ years of compliance experience in insurance or financial services or willing to learn and take on this role.
Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and reporting requirements.
Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
For Insurance Broking
Commercial Broking: Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across various industries, delivering tailored insurance solutions including public liability, professional indemnity, and other relevant coverages to meet the specific needs of each business.
Client Engagement: Build strong, lasting relationships and ensure clients' needs are always met.
Market Insight: Stay across industry changes and confidently advise on coverage options.
Policy Placement: Source and negotiate policies that provide the best outcomes for your clients.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance broking (commercial preferred).
Tier 1 qualification (or Tier 2 currently working towards Tier 1).
Sound knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, motivated, and eager to continue learning.
Strong time management and organisational abilities.
