We have up to 80 hours per fortnight available to be offered on a permanent part time basis. RIR works across 7 days per week and you must be willing to work a rotating roster.
Our preferred candidates will have:
Degree / Masters inNursing / Gerontology
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
A high level of Clinical and practical clinical knowledge
Ability to provide a high standard assessments, treatment and intervention to reduce the number of presentations from Residential Aged Care Facilities clients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Ability to work effectively with other Health Care Professionals across Aged Care, AV, & VVED
Commitment to providing a customer focused service
Capacity and willingness to be flexible and adaptable
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and to take initiative
Excellent problem-solving skills
Computer Skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel.
